Logic1000 is the alias of Sydney-born, Berlin-based DJ and producer Samantha Poulter, whose warm, evocative sound has made her one of electronic music’s most acclaimed new voices. Since her breakout 2018 track ‘DJ Logic Please Forgive Me’ (famously championed by Four Tet), she’s earned continued praise from the likes of BBC Radio 1, Resident Advisor, Pitchfork, Mixmag – who named her a DJ of the Year, and The Observer – who chose her as one of their
2024 debut album ‘Mother’was met with widespread critical acclaim upon release for its mix of influences, fused with her now-trademark skill of drawing out delicate, unspoken emotion from the sounds she brings together Clash Magazine called it “a triumph”, DJ Mag described it as “a 12-track masterpiece” and The Guardian praised her evolution on the record, claiming that it “seals Logic1000’s place in the long lineage of house music.”
Beyond music, Logic1000 has become a vocal advocate for mental health and inclusivity in club culture through her podcast with Heléna Star, ‘THERAPY’. The podcast, which has been growing an evermore devout following since its launch, sees Logic1000 and Heléna navigate issues such as motherhood, mental health and the ever-changing landscape of the music industry together with their handpicked guests, who to date have included Aluna, Jayda G, Jamz Supernova, Yukimi from Little Dragon and more.
